The National Naval Medical Center intends to award a sole-sourced preventive maintenance contract to Beckman Instruments for the period from date of award through 30 September 1997 to include four (4) option years. The equipment is located at the Laboratory Department, Naval Medical Clinic, Quantico, VA. Contract will include two (2) preventive maintenance inspections, unlimited emergency service calls, parts, labor and travel. Equipment to be covered includes two (2) Chemistry Analyzers Model CX3, Serial #4776 and Serial #632. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under the guidelines as set forth in the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). (297)
