L -- CONTRACTOR ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SERVICES SOL N00140-97-Q-0097 POC Frank Moretti, Contract Negotiator, (215)697-9611. The Fleet & Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Philadelphia intends to procure Contractor Engineering Technical Services (CETS) in support of the AN/APM 446 Radar System Test Sets (RSTS). The proposed procurement is for 72 man months of services currently estimated by the Naval Aviation Engineering Service Unit (NAESU), Philadelphia. The proposed effort will commence 1Apr 97 and end 31 Mar 98 with two twelve (12) month option periods extending performance to 31 Mar 2000. This effort will be covered by a new contract and/or existing contract. This solicitation will contain specifications for Contractor Field Service representatives (i.e. AFR, LSR) as appropriate. The place of performance is various Fleet and Shore Activities and will be specified in the forthcoming Request-For-Quotation. The eventual contract action is for services which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Electronics & Space Corp. under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Electronics & Space Corp. is the only provider of the services. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interests and technical capability to respond to this requirement. Interested parties who contend they are technically qualified should submit, within forty-five (45) days from publication of this notice, specific factual data, including but not limited to: technical resumes, corporate management, corporate experience, and other pertinent information as so desired, to be used as an evaluation basis to determine competence to successfully perform the required services. All technical proposals received within the 45 day notice will be considered by the Government. The Government reserves the right not to open this requirement to competition based upon technical responses to this notice. Technical responses and requests received as a result of this notice of intent will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information received. Requests for solicitations should be made by letter of telegram to FISC Norfolk Det. Phila. Code 0212B, FAX #215-697-9719.
