Firm Fixed Price Bids will be solicited for the construction of a new B-1 Beddown Site for the 116th Bomb Wing, Georgia Air National Guard, Robins AFB, Warner Robins, Georgia. The work under this contract shall include, but is not limited to, site preparation, demolition of existing buildings and radar tower, construction of new roadways, utilities and buildings, relocating a taxiway, construction of a new aircraft parking apron, construction of a Consolidated Aircraft Support System (CASS), construction of a new Petroleum Oil and Lubricant (POL) facility and jet fuel hydrant system. Performance time is 548 calendar days. Estimated cost of construction is more than $10,000,000. The solicitation will be ready for issue on/or about November 29, 1996. Bid due date will be January 15, 1997. A non-refundable charge of $100.00 will be required for purchase of each set of plans and specifications. The only form of payment is a non-refundable charge in the form of a postal money order, cashier's check or certified check made out to the U.S. Treasury for the amount of the charge.
