Brookhaven National Laboratory located approximately 60 miles East of New York City intends to solicit bids for the following: SUPPLY AND INSTALL GROUNDWATER WELLS, for small business only. SIC Code 1781. Work consists of the Procurement and Installation of water wells, pumps and appurtenances for groundwater remediation. Included are five (5) remediation wells, six inch diameter casings, stainless steel screens and pitless adapters. Depth ranges from one hundred to two hundred feet below grade. Well pumps to be four inch diameter, submersible, approximately one hundred gallons per minute capacity. Construction package scope includes collection of split spoon soil samples, well logging, well construction, development and containment of development water, well testing, pump installation, pump testing, startup and testing. Project Designation is OER-OU3-CP-6. Estimated construction time is 15 weeks. Estimated construction cost is $150,000 - $250,000. A 20% Bid Bond is required. Payment and Performance Bonds are required after contract award. Brookhaven National Laboratory is charging a non-refundable fee of $50 for bid documents.
