The Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards AFB, California has a requirement for 5000 meters of video component cable and 1000 each connectors. The requirement includes two (2) contract line items. CLIN 0001, 50 spools (100 meters each), video component cable, stranded center conductor, single braided shield, superior flexibility (even in subzero temperatures). For technical acceptability, the product must meet the following minimum requirements. Mechanical Specifications: 1) three (3) channels (red, green and blue for easy identification); 2) Length: 100 meters per spool; 3) Weight: maximum of 51 lbs per 100 meters; 4) Nominal Outside Diameter: 15.5 millimeters (.611''); 5) Individual Channel Outside Diameter: 6.0 millimeters (.237''). Electrical Performance Requirements: 1) Nominal Attenuation: 10mhz, 3.4dB/100 meters; 2) Nominal Impedance: 75 ohms; 3) Nominal Capacitance: 67pf/meter (21pf/ft); and 4) Channel Differential Delay: Less than 2.2 nano second (ns). MFR: Canare Cable Inc, P/N: V3-5C, OR EQUAL. CLIN 0002, 1000 each, connector, BNC crimp plug, 75 Ohms. For technical acceptability, the product must meet the following minimum requirements: 1) Type: dual crimp pin & sleeve; 2) Imdepence: 75 ohms; 3) Bandwidth: DC to 2 Ghz; 4) Return Loss: Greater than 26 dB; 5) Center Contact, Material Plating: Brass, Gold; 6) Crimp Sleeve, Material Plating: Copper, Tin; 7) Cable Retention: Greater than 55 lbs; 8) Insulation Resistance at 500 V DC: Greater than 1,000 megaohms; 9) Voltage Rating for One (1) Minute: 1500 V AC (rms); 10) Center Contact Resistance: Less than 3 milliohms. Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business concerns.
