Telefax responses welcome Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Prices preferred as FOB Destination to Andrews AFB, MD. Vendors quoting other than FOB Destination must include all freight and shipping charges with their quotation at the time of the offer. Responses to this RFQ must be received by 06 Dec 96, 2:00 P.M., Eastern Standard Time. Delivery and Finance addresses will be provided upon award. Award to be made to the lowest responsive/responsible offer. This is an urgent requirement! This office anticipates one week for abstraction and award of the order. SPECIFICATIONS: Contractor to furnish all parts, labor, material and equipment necessary for a complete audiovisual system and control room, at the Malcolm Grow Medical Center's Commmanders Conference Room. Audiovisual system shall provide the capability for teleconferencing and visual presentations. Major components include (but not limited to) ceiling mounted projector, full size document camera, microphones, amplifiers, controller panels, CD/cassette, related hardware and interface peripherals, etc. A scheduled site visit will be held on 96 Nov 25, at 10:00 P.M. (EST). Work shall be performed in accordance with Statement of Requirements data provided with RFQ. The following provisions apply to this acquisition: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing. Facsimile request will be accepted. No collect calls will be accepted. Interested sources must provide product information/data at time of submission of offer in support of proposed product.
