325-1200. Weapons Effects on Communications Codes (WECOM). The WECOM
codes developed earlier by DSWA shall be improved with user support
materials which include data bases, analytical, and engineering level
numerical models of nuclear and natural disturbed environments effects.
These effects seriously impact the operation of military comand,
control, communications, and computer (C4) systems networks. The WECOM
codes consist of a family of seven modules all of which shall be
upgraded and tailored to addressing the users new requirements for C4
network operability through any adverse environments, natural or
manmade. Procedures for mitigating the adverse environments effects on
C4 systems shall be provided for ensuring reliabale communications or
connectivity with the global deployment of forces. Contractor
personnel will require a DoD security level of SECRET-RD. Contemplated
period of performance is twelve months with two thirty-six months, not
including report cycle. Information on DSWA solicitations, already
