Pending availability of funds, the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) intends to negotiate, on a Sole Source basis, with SAS Institute, Inc., to modify Contract no. 500-95-0043 for the license and distribution of 8 to 12 proprietary SAS software products to up to 25 off-site users. Windows and DOS PC licensed products include: Base SAS, SAS, SAS/AF, SAS/ACCESS to PC File Format, SAS/ASSIST, SAS/CONNECT, SAS/ETS, SAS/FSP, SAS/GRAPH, SAS/STAT, SAS/IML, SAS/INSIGHT . The period of performance for the existing contract is 9/1/95 - 8/31/96 for the base year with four (4) Option Years. The leases will be for proprietary software inclusive of annual maintenance and customer support for SAS software installed on Agency equipment. If there are no affirmative written responses received within 15 calendar days, HCFA will proceed to modify Contract No. 500-95-0043 with SAS Institute, Inc. A RFP package is not available.
