This project is competitive 8(a), under the Small Business Administration's (SBA) 8(a) program, open only to qualified contractors certified in the districts covered by the Newark, New Jersey SBA office. The project involves the rehabilitation of approximately 1,200 lineal feet of existing 8-inch diameter sanitary sewer lines, the construction of approx. 15,300 feet of new sanitary sewers with manholes, the decommissioning of two existing pump stations, the demolition of eight existing pump stations, the rehabilitation of four existing pump stations, and the construction of five new (replacement) pump stations at the Picatinny Arsenal, Dover, New Jersey. The magnitude of the project is approximately $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. Duration of the project is 365 calendar days from the receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The SIC for this project is 1623.
