Z -- WINDOW REPLACEMENT. WORK TO BE PERFORMED AT THE FEDERAL BUILDING AND COURTHOUSE, 200 W. SECOND STREET, DAYTON, OHIO SOL GS05P97GAC0013 DUE 123096. This project includes but is not strictly limited to, providing all labor, materials, equipment and supervision required to remove and replace all the windows in the main curtain wall. Replace all insulated glazing units in the main curtain wall, remove existing pressure bars, install new sealant and gasketing. Replace stainless steel snap on covers as required. Remove all the butt glazed strip windows and install a new system which provides interior aluminum vertical support at the glass joints. Install receiver frames at the head & jambs to allow for structural movements w/o loss of seal integrity. New strip windows shall be 1'' insulated units. New work shall include rehabbing the ground level storefront system with component replacement and removal similar to the curtain wall. Install 1'' IGU's to replace existing glazing. Estimated Construction cost is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000 with a Four Hundred and Fifteen (415) Calendar Day construction period after receipt of Notice to Proceed. The Small Business size standard is $7 Million. Sealed bids will be opened publicly on February 28, 1997, at 2:00 P.M. (Local Time). Specifications will be available on or about December 30, 1996.
