The Air Force intends to issue a request for quotation to provide all labor, material, equipment, tools, and transportation to construct a new interior dividing wall between the entry area and the Sanctuary and providing three new pairs of wood and glass doors at the entryway of the Base Chapel, Bldg 1603, Hanscom AFB, MA. The principal items of demolition work include, but are not limited to: demolition of the existing interior dividing wall including doors, glass, and relocating the existing electrical fixtures, temporary bracing and dust cloths, demolition of three pairs of existing doors. The principal items of new contruction work include, but are not limited to: rough and finish carpentry, oak doors with beveled and water related architectural, mechanical, electrical and fire protection work to support the project. The construction performance period will include a 60 day period to order all materials and then a 21 day period to actually be on-site and perform all work to support the project. All intereseted firms shall respond in writing, no later than 12 NOV 96. A site visit will be held on 19 NOV 96.
