An indefinite delivery/quantity type contract for five successive one-year ordering periods with 53 each minimum/275 each maximum quantity is anticipated. First Article Test is required within 330 days ADC, and first order will be FOB Destination with required delivery of 5 each within 480 days ADC and 5 each per month thereafter until completion. All items will be delivered to Texarkana, TX. This procurement requires prequalification. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the agency. Contractors who desire to be prequalified must submit qualification documentation in accordance with procedures as stated in Section L of the solicitation. This proposed contract action is for supplies which require engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the item, and it is restricted to the currently approved sources who are Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. of Fort Worth, TX, and Airborne Supply of Hot Springs, AR. The time required for acquisition of this item is such that award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source.
