427-5594. The U.S. Army, PEO IEW, Systems Manager for the Special
Purpose Detecting System, AN/USD-9 (), Guardrail/Common Sensor (GR/CS)
is conducting a market survey for replacing LRIP CTT units in GR/CS
Systems 1,3 and 4 with the Joint Tactical Terminal, 3 Channel (JTT).
GR/CS is a remotely controlled airborne SIGINT Collection System. The
purpose of this market survey is to locate sources with sufficient
experience and technical knowledge to perform the total systems
integration and necessary hardware/software modifications to the GR/CS
ground stations and airborne prime mission equipment as required to
successfully operate a JTT in the GR/CS. The JTT shall provide a
Tactical Reconnaissance Intelligence Exchange Service (TRIXS) reporting
capability. Appropriate documentation, Training (ILS) and security
accreditation will be required. Interested parties must possess TS SCI
clearances in order to perform this effort or address any issues
concerning this program. Respondents to this market survey must address
all of the following elements, (a) planned technical approach to
developing interfaces for crossing security boundaries on each system,
(b) previous experience with similar communications systems i.e.
TRIXS, Tactical Information Broadcast System (TIBS), Tactical Data
Dissemination System (TDDS) and TADIX networks (include contract
number, type, value and performance status), (c) planned schedule
including hardware/software, installation, test, training and
documentation, and (d) describe the development environment available
at contractors facility to perform work herein described (the
government will not provide a development environment). The JTT will be
provided as GFE. This market survey is for information purposes only
and is not a promise for a future contract. All responses must be in
writing and received in the Project Office no later than 18 Nov 1996.
