70 -- TIME DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM SOL 6006N2942 POC Contact Josiane Rioux (205) 461-4336 Lockheed Martin Eng. & Sciences Co. intends to procure a Time Distribution System on a full and open competition basis. The Time Distribution System will be installed as a total integrated system at the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center, Huntsville, AL. This Time Distribution System will replace the existing timing system . The TDS shall provide timing information for all existing Huntsville Operation Support Center (HOSC) and Enhanced HOSC facilities including the Spacelab Payload Operations Control Center (POCC), Space Station Payload Operations Integration Center, Advanced X-Ray Astrophysics Facility. The TDS shall receive, generate, and distribute Inter- Range Instrumentation Group (IRIG) and Global Positioning (GPS) timing signals, distribute timing signals to overhead displays, and transmit timing information to HOSC computers over HOSC Local Area Networks (LANs). Award of subcontract is expected O/A December 23, 1996. Interested persons have 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis to submit their requests.
