The Agency for International Development intends to issue a purchase order for annual software support for the Wang Open/Image Solaris Server software (OI-SOL-100) and the Open Image Cabinet software (OI- CBTWIN-4) for the integrated document software application entitled ExACT. Contractor shall provide 1) toll-free telephone support within North American for OPEN/Image software products, including problem source identification and resolution 2) telephone assistance for administration and operation questions 3) tracking of customer's issues through Software Problem Tracking and Reporting system 4) escalation of issues in accordance with the until all problems are resolved and 5) availability of maintenance releases, corrective software and new enhancement releases. This synopsis of intent shall not be considered a solicitation document. NO award will be made solely on the basis of any responses to this synopsis. Responsible sources capable of meeting the Government's requirement may respond furnishing clear and convincing data substantiating ability to furnish the requirement, including technical and pricing data, GSA Contract Number (if applicable), within 15 days after publication of this notice. If no responses are received showing that a comparable source is available at lower overall costs and technical capabilities to maintain the software within 15 days from publication of this notice, a contract will be awarded.
