C -- UPGRADE MEDICAL GASES SOL 452-21-97 DUE 112496 POC Delbert Rinehart (90) Architect/Engineering Services for performing a complete preliminary assessment, preparation of construction documents and specifications, cost estimates, and construction period services for Project 452-97-102 to Upgrade Medical Gases. Project will replace major source components, bring grandfathered issues into compliance with current NFPA codes, and correct all previously identified deficiencies. Systems and components to be evaluated by this project include the primary sources for the medical air and vacuum systems in Buildings 1, 19, and 34, nitrous oxide and nitrogen sources, reserve systems, piping and distribution system in Building 34, bulk oxygen storage, emergency connections, and facility oxygen distribution piping replacement of the localized zone alarm panels, evaluation and replacement of the master alarm panels and monitoring system, evaluation and replacement if necessary of all user end connection outlets, and increasing the ability of alarms to notify engineering staff of high and low pressures. Estimate construction cost is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. SIC 8712 applies and Small Business Size Standard is $2.5 million as an average annual revenue during the last three complete years.
