L -- ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL SERVICE IN SUPPORT OF THE F-18 PROGRAM SOL N00140-97-R-0277 POC David Gagliardi, Contract Negotiator, (215)697-9626. The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center (FISC) Norfolk Det Philadelphia intends to acquire non-personal Contractor Engineering and Technical Services (CETS) by qualified field service personnel for the purpose of informing, instructing and training Department of the Navy Personnel in the installation, operation and maintenance in support Support Equipment / Auxiliary Power Unit (SE/APU) Program-T-26 Test Cell, Garret 36-200 (F/A-18) and Mark 4 GTS (AV-8B) Auxiliary Power Unit series test stands and associated support equipment. The proposed procurement consists of one (1) CFS task: (#32244). The basic contract period will be 01 January 97 through 30 September 97. The task will also contain two 12-month option periods plus a final three-month option period. The period of performance, inclusive of options will total 36 man months. This period covers the Government's minimum needs. The solicitation will contain specifications for Contract Field Services (CFS) as appropriate. Services will be at the Intermediate and/or Organizational level, as specified. The place of performance for the task will be MCAS Iwakuni, Japan, with possible minimal afloat duty. The solicitation will contain specifications and qualifications for the types of services required. A Labor Hour contract is anticipated.
