The Federal Bureau of Prisons, South Central Regional Office, Dallas, Texas, plans to issue solicitation IFB 119-8065 for a fully automatic wet pipe sprinkler system in specific buildings as indicated in the solicitation, located at the Federal Correctional Institution, Seagoville, Texas. The work required by this contract shall include sizing, building and furnishing all labor and materials for the complete installation and testing of the system. This is a wet pipe system employing automatic sprinklers attached to a piping system containing water and connected to a water supply so that water discharges immediately from sprinklers opened by fire. The systems includes pipe, fittings, valves, sprinklers, specialties and accessories. The estimated magnitude of this contract is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. The solicitation package will be available on or about November 7, 1996 with an anticipated bid opening on or about December 10, 1996.
