67 -- ULTRANAC CAMERA UPGRADE SOL DAAD05-97-B-0001 DUE 111596 POC Contract Specialist Kevin Clark 410-278-0890 (Site Code DAAD05) The U.S. Army Aberdeen Proving Ground Test Center has a requirement to have three cameras upgraded. The cameras are UltraNac ICS-20 CCD Digital Peltier Cooled with 2000 X 2000 Pixel Resolution. The upgrade specification are as follows: 1) The pixel array format (Horizontal X Vertical) shall be 2033 X 2044. 2) The sensitive area shall be 18.30mm X 18.40mm. 3) The pixel size (microns) shall be 9 X 9. 4) Typical full well capacity (electrons) shall be 85,000. 5) Typical read noise (e) shall be 40KHz. 6) Typical dark signal (e/pixel/sec) in TE/A head shall be 0.05. 7) The upgrade shall include a complete 16-bit cooled CCD readout system utilizing or compatible with the UltraNac ICS 20 CCD Digital Image Control and Cooling Electronics System. 8) The upgrade shall be capable of utilizing or be compatible with the existing UltraNac hardware components such as the mounting brackets, mounting base, bellow units, and relay lenses to ensure proper connection and operation with the UltraNac High-Speed Image Converter Camera. 9) The upgrade shall be capable of interfacing with the existing Imager 2 Software and the existing computer control systems.
