Woodard, Contract Specialist, 301-496-6546 It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to negotiate on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 and 41 USC 252(c)(1) with University of California, School of Nursing, P.O. Box 0608 UCSF, San Francisco, California 94143. The purpose of this effort is for the Contractor to assist NLM in defining the types of analysis to be done on data collected in NLM/AHCPR Large Scale Vocabulary Test and help analyze the results. The Contractor will perform review of records submitted to test for accurate clinical content, including correctness of medical terminology and the relationships indicated for the terms. No solicitation document is available and requests for such will be considered non-responsive. Responses must be in writing and must be received in this office 15 calender days from the publication of the this notice, and must include pricing. All response from responsible sources will be considered. As a result of analyzing responses to this synopsis of intent, the Contracting Officer may determine that a solicitation will be issued. If a solicitation is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. Any such soliciation will be issued to the intended vendor and all firms that respond to this synopsis intent.
