The FHWA intends to establish multiple task order contracts for the conduct of studies in the overall area of Highway Right-of-Way/Real Estate Management. Future task orders will involve the study and assessment of existing ROW/REM programs/practices/problems at various Federal/State/Local government sites throughout the US. Topics of the various studies may cover ROW/REM planning, costing, property appraisal, acquisition, condemnation, property management, shared use, computerization/metrication in the profession, ramifications of the FHWA Relocation Program on other Federal/State/Local programs, and other topics to be identified. The specific contents of each task order will vary based on the needs of the specific site program to be studied. Offerors may respond to any or all of the study topics.
