This is a notice of sources sought for the proposed contract action for preparation of Environmental Impact Statements and Environmental Assessments (EIS & EA) for the DOE. The DOE/AL intends to solicit for multiple award, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Services in support of DOE-wide programs and sites. It is expected that a Draft Request For Proposal (RFP) will be issued for industry comment in early December 1996. No proposals will be accepted in response to the Draft Solicitation. The issuance of the Draft RFP will be publicized in the Commerce Business Daily and on the DOE/AL home-page in the ''Doing Business With DOE AL'' section. http:\\www.doeal.gov. Target award date is September 1997. The specific Environmental Assessment or Environmental Impact Statement activities to be performed under this proposed acquisition will be issued on individual task orders from each DOE program or site and are not specifically identified.
