A -- SUPPORT OF THE NAVAL MIN-WARFARE SIMULATION PROJECT SOL N61331-97-Q-1805 DUE 112296 POC Jesse L. Johnson, Contract Specialist, (904)234-4539 Carol A. Dreger, Contracting Officer, (904)234-4863. The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, NSWC, Panama City, FL intends to award a sole source Purchase Order to Presearch, Inc., Arlington, VA for Technical and Engineering Services in support of the Naval Mine-warfare Simulation Project (NMSP), Joint Countermine Operational Simulation (JCOS), and the Total Mine Simulation System (TMSS). This will be a short term follow-on to complete requirements started under contract N61331-92-D-0007 for the past five (5) years. As noted these are on-going projects and this Purchase Order will be to conclude requirements already in progress. Presearch, Inc. has developed a detailed in-depth knowledge of these systems through the support provided under the previously cited contract. The tasks contained in the Purchase Order are anticipated to be completed no later than 17 January 1997. No other contractor would be able to build the knowledge base that Presearch, Inc. has already achieved to complete this work within the allotted timeframe. See Note 22. (0304)
