The Volpe Center plans to solicit a sole-source simplified acquisition purchase from Boyd, Maier & Associates, Barboursville, VA for a transportation flow analysis program. The analysis program will define various flows of passengers, aircraft, cargo, and aviation industry personnel in accordance with the Statement of Work included in the Request for Quotation. This requirement is a follow on with Boyd, Maier & Associates who are currently conducting a comprehensive national study of checked baggage screening at domestic and foreign airports for the FAA. The requirements of the transportation flow analysis program are complementary to the requirements of the Checked Baggage Screening Program. Small Business Firms classified under SIC CODE 8731 that are interested in proposing on this requirement must demonstrate in writing to the Contracting Officer, no later than 15 days from the date of the synopsis publication that they: (1) posses the data already provided by the FAA under the checked baggage screening and, (2) posses a Secret Clearance. Small Business Firms will be required to submit documentation in support of the above for evaluation by the Government prior to receiving a quotation.
