C -- OUTPATIENT PHARMACY RELOCATION SOL PROJECT #689-324 DUE 111896 POC James Corbett, Contracting Officer, 203-937-3078. The VAMC, West Haven, Connecticut requires A/E services for the project titled ''Outpatient Pharmacy Relocation''. The scope of work includes furnishing Schematic review material, construction documents including asbestos abatement, cost estimates, specifications, related informational and construction period services. Drawings are to be developed using Autocad Release and shall conform to VA CADD and AIA standards. All drawings shall be compatible with the AUTOCAD Softdesk system utilized by the VA Engineering Service. The A/E shall be responsible for copying and editing necessary VA Master Construction Specifications that are required by the project. For all submissions (2) sets of blueprints, (2) copies of edited construction specifications, (2) copies of cost estimates and related data and documents are required. After the 100% submission is approved, the A/E shall deliver (40) sets of bound blueprints, (1) set of mylars, (1) sets of sepias, (40) sets of bound construction specifications, (2) sets of the costs estimates and all other required documents and sketches. Accompanying the approved submission of the 100% documents the A/E shall submit (2) sets of 3.5'' HD floppy disks containing the final drawings in Autocad release 13 and (2) sets of 3.5'' HD floppy disks containing the final construction specification package in Microsoft Word 6.0. The general scope of the work is: Design the relocation of the Outpatient Pharmacy from the ground floor of Building #1 to level #2 of Building #2. Construction cost range is between $1,000,000 and $2,000,000. Only firms within a 100 mile radius of West Haven, Connecticut desiring consideration should submit current SF-254's and SF-255's before close of business (4:30 EST), November 18, 1996.
