The contract provides technical support concerning planning, analysis, requirements definition, design, development, implementation, integration and training for the Department of State's information and communication systems. A competitive follow-on contract is expected to be awarded on or before November 17, 1996 under Solicitation No. S-OPRAQ-96-R-0568. However, in the event that a follow-on contract is not awarded by November 17, 1996, the Department of State intends to extend the current contract with Computer Sciences Corporation for up to 60 days to prevent any disruption of services.
