The Federal Bureau of Prisons has a requirement for the provision of Dental Assistant Services at the United States Penitentiary located in Marion, Illinois. Offeror to provide routine and urgent ``in-house'' Dental Assistant Services in one hour sessions not to exceed thirty sessions per week, for and estimated 1560 sessions per contract year. Offeror to provide services using four handed techniques, with laboratory assistance, and provide written documentation on said cases. Offeror to provide telephonic dental assistant technical information support to the clinical staff when the Chief Dental Officer is away from the institution, and maintain quality assurance and infectious disease control logs regarding dental services. Offeror must hold an acceptable Dental Assistant National Board. Credential standards and verification to meet current ADA and JCAHO standards. The government intends to award a contract with a base year and four option year period. Penal Institution security requirements apply. Estimated solicitation issue date is 11/18/96.
