DESCRIPTION OF WORK--The work includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, and equipment to construct a truck parking containment area consisting of a bermed area with a resin modified pavement surface, safety lighting, a concrete reinforced holding pond and lift pump all interconnected with a buried pipeline system that results in the discharge of water to the existing on site drainage system, and associated appurtenances, and incidental related work complete and ready for use.--The estimated cost is between $100,000 and $250,000.--Firm Fixed Price Contract.--Contract duration is 120 calendar days.--Bids will be considered from all responsible sources.--This project is unrestricted.--The Standard Industrial Code is 1611 and the annual size standard is $17 million.--It is recommended the subcontracting plan goals reflect a minimum goal of 5% for Small Disadvantaged Business subcontracting effort.--NOTE: Plans and specs will not be mailed to firms within a 20 mile radius of the issuing office. A fee will be charged for all plans and specs.
