The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, San Francisco, CA, intends to procure a Siemens Magnetron Vision system (a high resolution whole body MR imaging system which fully integrates all aspects of the clinical MR examination into one stand-alone environment). The system is to be installed in Building 200 of the Veterans Affairs Medical Center at 4150 Clement Street in San Francisco, California. The project involves installation of the new system so as to provide turnkey service of the system. Installation will include design-build service to upgrade the existing space and utilities as necessary for the successful installation of the system in strict compliance with the manufacturer's requirements and in accordance with the latest VA Master Construction Specification H-08-1, ADA, UBC, NFPA, and NEC codes. Installation will involve general construction, interior finishing, HVAC, addition of a bathroom, plumbing, structural and electrical work.
