Skipper, (912) 767-1868 (Site Code DAKF10) The Army requires a contract for Reroofing and Replacing Damaged Acoustical Ceiling Tile and Grids, Bldg. 207, Fort Stewart, GA. The work includes but is not necessarily restricted to the following items: (1) Sweep and remove all loose gravel from the roof and dispose of same; (2) Install single ply PVC roofing over one inch Polyisocyanurate, slipsheet, over existing built-up roof, according to manufacturer's instructions; (3) Remove and replace all deteriorated nailers at flashings, curbs and elsewhere; (4) Remove and replace deteriorated pitch pockets, or refill pitch pockets to rounded tops as shown on the drawings; (5) Install new bronze PVC metal coping caps with P.T. wood nailers, complete with PVC metal flashing for parapet side walls as shown on sections; (6) Remove and reflash existing roof drains. If damaged replace with matching roof drain units; (7) Reflash all penetrations through the roof. The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. SIC for this project is 1761. Performance shall be completed within 90 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. All responsible business concerns may submit a bid which will be considered.
