12 -- DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION OF A NUCLEAR TOMAHAWK LAND ATTACK MISSILE PORTABLE LAUNCH SYSTEM FOR SUBMARINES SOL N00024-96-R-6221 POC Heather Jackson, Contracts Specialist, SEA 02621H, 703-602-7703, fax 703-602-7023 The Naval Sea Systems Command, Undersea Systems Contracts Division, SEA 0262 has a requirement for the development and production of a Nuclear Tomahawk Land Attack Missile Portable Launch System (TLAM-N PLS) to be installed on 688, 688I, and NSSN class submarines. This requirement includes the design, development, production, delivery, and interim life cycle support of up to fifty-five (55) production systems. In addition, the Contractor will be required to provide two Engineering Development Models (EDMs), two Two-Dimensional (2D) Mock-ups, a First Article unit, technical and other data including technical manuals and Provisioning Technical Documentation, up to 9,000 mandays of engineering services in support of the design, development and production effort, applicable spares to be ordered under a Provisioned Items Orders line item, Depot Level Maintenance, and cables/precable kits and containers for the production systems. The design and development of the TLAM-N PLS will be on a Cost-Plus-Incentive Fee basis, and the production of the systems will be on a Firm Fixed Price basis. This competitive procurement is open to all U.S. firms which possess, or will possess by contract award, a SECRET facility clearance.
