Reclamation of liner to the original drawing configuration including replacement of burnt splash rings utilizing thoria-dispersion-strengthened nickel material in accordance with specifications and Drawing No. 12286890. Only contractors who have been qualified by the Tank Automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM), for reclamation of the combustor liner, will be considered for performance of specified work. The qualified contractor shall perform replacement of swirler assembly (PN 12286903) thermal barrier ceramic coating, replacement of aluminize coating and performance of additional DMWR 9-2835-255 reclamation procedures as required. Combustor liners shall meet all the performance and functional requirements of this specification and DMWR 9-2835-255. The combustor liners shall be repaired back to original drawing configuration. All materials and accessories required to perform the combustor liner repairs shall be included as part of the repairs. The quantity is 233 each. The Anniston Army Depot will supply the contractor with 20 liners per month until total quantity is completed. Delivery will be 45 days after contractor receives shipment of liners. This will be a negotiated procurement with only two sources: Tri-Remanufacturing, 3390 Locust Street, Terre Haute, Indiana 47803; and Electro-Methods, 330 Governors Highway, South Windsor, Connecticut 06074, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 and U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). Tri-Remanufacturing and Electro-Methods are the only known companies that have been tested and technically approved by TACOM. Firms that recognize and can perform the required reclamation are encouraged to identify themselves and provide supporting evidence too TACOM, AMSTA-IM-AA, Warren, Michigan 48397-5000 which would permit their participation in future solicitations.(0305)
