87 -- FISH FOOD POC James Mc Donough (916)979-2178 The BOR, Mid-Pacific Region has a requirement to procure approximately 640,000 lbs of extruded, frozen, semi-moist fish feed for fingerling and smelt size salmon. Feed shall contain high levels of best quality fish protein and low phosphorus with a shelf-life of 90 days at 0 degrees Fahrenheit. Feed shall be packed in 50 pound sealed and lined paper bags. Additionally, the fish feed must be shipped in refrigerated vans or insulated to prevent thawing. A particular contractor has previously been able to provide this service to the satisfaction of the BOR. Justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared for this acquisition and will be utilized unless another contractor can demonstrate their ability to provide this service. Interested contractors shall provide information, to include previous successful experience providing this product, to this office by November 30, 1996. Documentation shall include the types of fish food deli vered as well as identification of the customers for whom the product was provided (with names and telephone numbers of individuals to contact to substantiate this experience), and costs for the services provided.
