Prevost Tel: (410) 965-9489 The Social Security Administration (SSA) requires the services of a conatractor to provide International Priority Airmail (IPA) Services and Bulk-Letter Service to Canada to qualify for the IPA discount program through the United States Postal Service (USPS). The mail to be processed for the IPA discount shall be picked up at two locations in the SSA Headquarters facility in Baltimore (Woodlawn), Maryland. The contractor shall comply with all applicable USPS regulations contained in the USPS International Mail Manual. The period of performance shall be April 1, 1996, or date of award, whichever is later through March 31, 1997, with provisions for the inclusion of four one-year option periods. Solicitation Number SSA-RFP-97-2908 is scheduled for release on or about December 15, 1996, with proposals due 30 days later. Requests for the RFP should be received no later than 20 days after the date of this publication. Requests received after that time will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. No telephone requests for the RFP will be honored. This requirement is a 100% small-business set-aside. Proposals received for OTHER than a small business will be deemed unacceptable and given no further consideration.
