The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, San Francisco, CA, intends to award a contract for the procurement of an indefinite quantity of home hemodialysis supplies for a base year and up to two option years. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented by additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. IFB-662-02-97 is being issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB). In these events, the Government will incur reasonable additional shipping charges; i.e., for commercial overnight delivery service.
