C -- A/E SOURCES SOUGHT, RENOVATE PATIENTS RESTROOMS DUE 111896 POC John Gregorio, Contract Specialist (303) 393-4690 VAMC, Denver, Colorado is seeking qualified and interested A/E firms to provide the following for the Renovate Patient Restrooms, Project NO. 554-97-118, the project will be set aside for Emerging Small Businesses, SIC 8712 (1.25 million): a) Perform a preliminary study of all patient restrooms in buildings 1, 24, and 38 for the purpose of identifying ADA/Handicap needs, as well as other general physical conditions for renovation. This preliminary study will conclude with a report of findings, which will prioritize, based upon ADA/Handicap accessibility, the worst case locations, along with an approximate cost estimate of required upgrades. The study will be reviewed by the government, along with the applicable preliminary cost estimates, which will result in the government selecting, by priority, the specific restrooms that will be improved. This listing will be the scope of the actual Bid Documents for construction phase of the project. b) The second phase is the production of the Bid Documents, including full construction period services. Estimated construction cost for this project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00.
