A statement from vendors indicating that they are planning to participate in the bench scale test demonstrations at NTS is due in writing not later than 6 November 1996. The due date for submission of the capability statements, any technical specification and notice of intent for consideration by the Agency is extended from 28 October 1996 to 20 November 1996. From the capability statements, vendors will be selected and invited to participate in the bench scale demonstrations at the Nevada Test Site. Vendors invited to participate in the bench scale demonstrations will transport their waste volume reduction processes to the Nevada Test Site Decontamination Facility and demonstrate it at their own expense. Processes successfully demonstrated will be invited to compete for award(s) for pilot scale technology demonstrations at the contaminated site on Johnston Island. For information, contact Damon Q.
