Work includes repair of facility, bldg 11013 to include: remodel existing restrooms, replacement of existing carpet and wall coverings, installation of porch, repair/replacement of existing ceilings and incidental related work. Demolish and remove existing air conditioning system including chillers, fluid cooler, boiler, associated pumps, air handling equipment, piping, duct work and filter band in mechanical room; ductwork, heating, coils and piping from attic, and all air devices. Provide new ventilation and heating system including air handlers with air side economizer, ductwork, new air devices, heating, coils, piping, boiler and controls. Plumbing and replacement as related to restroom remodal. Install new fire protection sprinkler system. Removal and replacement of interior and exterior lighting. Remove 3 x 100 kVA exiting oil filled transformers and associated insulator and supports. Disconnect and remove existing 15 kVA service cable and associated equipment. Install 75 kVA, 120/208 V three phase padmounted transformer and associated equipment. Install dedicated computer power supply panel and circuits for each office. Modify existing incoming service pole and provide new 120/208 V switchboard. Installation of Radionics Fire Alarm System. Construct Covered Entrance for same facility. Total contract performance period for this project is 180 calendar days. The estimated magnitude of construction cost for the total of both clins is $500,000 to 1,000,000. Anticipated schedule is to issue IFB on 19 Nov 96, open bids on 10 Dec 96. Plans and specifications will be furnished with the IFB at a cost of $95.00 (non-refundable) via certified check, cashier's check or money order payable to: ``FSO-Vandenberg AFB,'' and sent to the above address.
