70 -- REFLECTIVE MEMORY SOL F40650-97-R-0006 DUE 121696 POC Kathy P. Swanson, Contract Specialist, (615) 454-7841 This requirement is for Reflective Memory necessary to fabricate a central data network within the upgraded data acquisition systems currently being fabricated for deployment throughout Arnold Engineering Development Center (AEDC). The network established by the Reflective Memory components shall be capable of supporting an aggregate data bandwidth of 12 Mbytes/sec. This bandwidth must be maintained for both random and sequential reads and writes and does not include the manufacturer's error correction and communications overhead. The interfaces shall support both Direct Memory Access (DMA) and individual reads and writes. This plan is a four-year effort, requiring interchangeable hardware and software interfaces; therefore, all components must be purchased from one vendor. Any memory must be compatible with and directly interchangeable with VMIC Model No. 5588. Intended source is VME Microsystems International Corp., 12090 S. Memorial Parkway, Huntsville, Alabama, 35803-3308, (800) 322-3616. See Note(s): 22. (0309)
