The objective of Air Combat Command in 1997 is to increase Bowling lineage and increases traffic and sales. Most importantly, if a customer tries a new service or product because of a promotion and has a good experience, that promotion gains you a customer whose value in repeat business and referrals is immeasurable. This initiative is three fold: First, to increase lineage during summer slow periods, command wide. Capture new Bowlers, reward current Bowlers with the opportunity to win prizes of significant value. This program will begin 1 May 1997 through 15 Aug 1997. The theme of this program is (Open Bowling Challenge.) Bowling for gold! Sponsorship provides a worthwhile opportunity to attract a large, nationwide, valuable and otherwise difficult-to-reach audience. ACC Services facilities serve approximately 272,363 military and Federal government employees and their families, and over 91,407 retirees and family members who reside near 21 Air Force installations. The opportunity to develop product awareness and loyalty among the ACC wide population is one of the most tangible benefits. Other on-site branding opportunities (Signs, banners, programs, tickets etc.) are available for use by the sponsor. In addition, periodically credit recognition in news releases and other publicity materials is available. Pre-publicity in base newspaper and commercial publications is part of ACC plans to enhance attendance and participation in this event. Sponsors would benefit by corporate or logo exposure in commercial advertising in command information publications. Air Combat Command is requesting the donation of a prizes to be utilized as the award to the bases to increases it's bowling lineage the most significantly over the period of the program. Sponsor benefits include event signage, mention in promotional materials, product display, and other recognition and marketing opportunities. All offers will be considered. More than one sponsor may be accepted. Requests for copies of solicitation must be received not later than 29 November 1996. This is a solicitation for commercial sponsorship by a Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentality of the United States Government. It does not obligate appropriated funds of the government.
