Sealed bids from all business concerns will be accepted for the Ohio Forest Highway Project OH PFH 2-1(12) in Lawrence County, Ohio. the project consists of reconstructing approximately 1.47 km of Lawrence County Road 29 and 0.14 km of incidental roads. The work involves grading, drainage improvements, aggregate and hot asphalt concrete pavement placement, channel stabilization, and other miscellaneous work. Principal items of work and approximate quantities are as follows: Roadway excavation, 4,600 m3; Placed riprap, class 2, 1,900 m3; Aggregate base, grading C or D, 5,300 metric tons; Hot asphalt concrete pavement, 2,200 metric tons; Furnishing and placing topsoil, 50 mm depth, 13,000 m2. The project is expected to fall within the price range of $500,000 to $1,000,000 and has a construction completion date of September 15, 1997.
