This solicitation is set aside for small business in accordance with FAR subpart 13.105(a). HAYSTACK TURNKEY CD-ROM SYSTEM TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWINGCOMPONENTS: CLIN 1; Data subscription, Network version of Basic Haystack III and Haystack for APL's in a windows format for a one year period. License to include unlimited access for up to 25 simultaneous users on multiple workstations. System to beupdated every 30 days during subscription period. CLIN 2; CD-ROM Servers, Two Pentium 200 MHZ Computers with 64 MB Ram, 9GB SCSI hard drive, 14'' VGA Monitor w/video card, SCSI controller card and 6X Plextor Internal CD-Rom drive. In addition, eachsystem will come with Windows NT software and have a three year maintenance agreement. Price includes shipping. Server portion will be owned by customer upon delivery and payment of invoice. CLIN 3; Installation, Onsite assistance in install byTechnical Support. CLIN 4; Training, Five basic user orientation classes for up to 10 people per class for users to be conducted by HIS Customer Education Manager. This is to reach key people in outside areas and give themmaterials and skills to train their colleagues. CLIN 5; Customer Support, Access to HIS 800 number technical and customer support from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Pacific Standard Time for subscription period. CLIN 6; Gatekeeper software, to be included asavailable. FOB San Diego CA, Date of Delivery and acceptance 30 days ARO. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, instructions to offerors, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation is based on best value, cost, ability to meet requirements and pastperformance. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, offeror representation and certification - commercial items with its offer. In addition to the guidance contained in FAR 52.212-4, contractors shall submit proof of delivery with their invoices.
