Raymond, Contracting Officer, (805) 277-3900 Ext2285. The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with CYBER SYSTEMS, INC., 2031 E. Cerritos Ave., Anahiem, CA, unless responses to this synopsis reveal other sources capable of satisfying the Government's requirment. Cyber Systems, Inc is the only known source capable of satisfying the agency requirement. The requirement is to provide for the expansion and upgrade of six (6) existing CYBER Systems Data Master 7000 Data Acquisition Systems (a.k.a. Cyber DM7000). These systems are used to acquire and record continuous data from various types of analog and digital transducers at rates up to 100,000 samples per second. In addition to the transducer data, each Cyber DM7000 system also provides simultaneous data display, limit checking, computed channels, discrete I/O control, as well as many other test related functions. all in real time. Off-the-shelf equipment which is fully compatible with the hardware and software used throughout the Cyber DM7000 systems is required. Due to the turnkey nature of the Cyber DM7000 system, installation and integration of the hardware and/or software, without compromising the integrity of the existing systems' operation must be provided. The equipment associated with the Cyber DM7000 includes, the following items: Basic DAS Without Frontend Cyber P/N DM 7000, IRIG Timing Capability, Cyber P/N DM-TIME, Discrete I/O Capability Cyber P/N DM-I/O, Enhanced Data Monitoring & Handling Cyber P/N DM-DM, Enhanced Diagnostic Test Cabability Cyber P/N VP 2000, Basic 32 Channel Front End Cyber P/N DM-32M, Channel Expansion Cyber P/N DM-32S, Pulse Rate Capability (16 Inputs) Cyber P/N DM-PR, MCU Card Set (Large and Small Config) Cyber P/N MCU-PL, CPU Board Motorola P/N MVME167, Dual-Channel Preamp Module Cyber P/N 14464, Preamp Chassis Power Supply Cyber P/N 9371-M, Interface Card Cyber P/N 14505, Post AMP/ADC Module Cyber P/N 15514-1. This requirement was previously synopsized as a sources sought synopsis on on 18 Jun 96. Under the authority of U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 (supplies available from only one source), the AFFTC intends to negotiate a firm-fixed price three-year requirements contract with Cyber Systems, Inc. unless responses to this notice reveal other sources capable of satisfying the requirement. Interested sources must submit clear and convincing documentation that clearly demonstrates their ability to meet the Government's requirement. Written requests to be put on a solicitation mailing list without submission of the required documentation and prices will not be honored.
