Contractor shall repair and calibrate UV-NIR and MIR-FIR Spectrophotometers to acceptable functional level of operation to include replacement if necessary after initial move to interim site. Contractor shall repair and calibrate the Spectrophotometers again after move to ARL Adelphi Building. It is intended to award this contract to Perkin-Elmer Corporation, Norwalk, CT on a sole source basis. Perkin-Elmer does not warrantee service provided by third parties and the Government lacks adequate data to permit third parties to effectively compete for this effort.
