Scope of Work: The work consists of renovations comprising 18,500 square feet of an existing 24,000 square feet one story industrial building and the construction of a 5-bay covered loading platform plus minor related site work at 2900 Grays Ferry Ave, Philadelphia PA 19143 to provide facilities for USPS mail carriers. The work includes, but is not limited to the following materials, trades and supplier: demolition, excavation and paving, concrete, concrete unit masonry, structural steel, miscellaneous metals, carpentry and millwork, building insulation, prefinished and performed metal roof system, hollow metal doors, frames and hardware, wood doors, gypsum drywall, ceramic tile, acoustical ceiling, VCT, carpeting, painting, toilet compartments, flagpole, signs, lockers, toilet accessories, rooftop gas fired HVAC units, ductwork and controls, unit heater, tube radiation, sprinkler system, plumbing fixtures, fluorescent and metal halide lighting fixtures, pad transformer electrical service, security system, telephone system, CCTV system and postal supplied products and equipment. Work is to be completed within 120 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The estimated price range is from $500,000 to $1,000,000.
