59 -- CONTRACTOR LOGISTICAL SUPPORT (CLS) FOR THE AN/TPS-59(V)3 RADAR DUE 120696 POC Contact Point - Terence McGinn at FAX (703)784-5826. Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award a new sole source contract for equipment repair and or replacement for the AN/TPS-59(V)3 radar and associated equipment to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Syracuse, New York. This repair contract will support the pre-production radar system, #A1, presently stationed at MCTSSA, Camp Pendleton, California The technical requirements will include the ability to repair/replace the Lowest Replaceable Units (LRU), such as the circuit cards housed in the Analog Preprocessor, Digital Signal Processor and Control, and Post Detection Processor and Control units, and peripherals of the Marine Corps Common Harware Suites Class A computers. The period of performance will be approximately from 1January 1997 to 1 January 2000. No solicitation document exists at this time. See numbered Note 22. (0311)
