This solicitation is for an battery powered implantable device designed to perform substantially all or part of the pumping function of the left ventricle of the natural heart for patients suffering from cardiovascular disease. This system is called an IP HeartMate Left Ventricular Assist System(LVAS) Implementation Program that is FDA approved and is to include; Two(2) HeartMate Drive Consoles w/carts; Two(2) HeartMate IP LVAS; Two(2) Spare Interconnect Cables; Two(2) Coring Knives; (Two(2) HeartMate Hand Pumps; One(1) Box of Thread Protectors; One(1) Outflow Graft w/Thread Protectors; One(1) Box Sewing Rings; Two(2) Tunnelers; One(1) HeartMate Anatomical Sizer; One(1) Pump Disassembly Fixture; One(1) HeartMate Clinical Trainer Simulator for console education rtMate Clinical TrainrtMate Clinical Trainand testing, Comprehensive Laboratory and on-site training program; Operating Manuals; One year warranty parts/labor. This Notice Of Intent is not a Request For Competitive Proposals however, all proposals received by November 22, 996 will be considered by the government.
