The Patuxent River NAWC AD has a requirement to procure four heat exchangers. The heat exchangers will be of the brazed plate type consisting of the following - Plate and Stud Bolt Material: 304 Stainless Steel - Braze Material: Nickle - Inlet/Outlet Connections: Two (2) inch NPT - Fuel Flow: 150 GPM - Fuel Temperature: 135 degrees F Inlet: 100 degrees F Outlet - Fuel Type: JP-5 and Low Lubricity Fuels - Maximum Fuel Inlet Pressure: 450 PSI, Fuel delta P=8 PSI - Water Flow: 100 GPM - Water Temperature: 89 degress F Inlet, 109 degrees F Outlet, delta P=4 PSI - Heat Transfer Rate: 1,000,000 BTUH. These heat exchangers are required for the Fuel/Air tempering system that establishes component testing conditions. Delivery is required FOB destination to NAS Patuxent River, Maryland on 1 Jun 97. Award is to be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency.
