C -- A/E SERVICES, MULTI-DISCIPLINE POC Aldean Montague A/E services are required to provide architectural, mechanical, plumbing and electrical construction documents necessary to accomplish renovation of building 7 at this facility for Rehabilitation Medicine Services. A/E shall utilize existing walls, floors, ceilings, HVAC, lighting and utility systems/configurations. Services will include, but is not limited to preparation of plans, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, construction period services all in accordance with the most current applicable codes. Award of a contract is dependent upon the availability of funding. SELECTION CRITERIA: Each interested firm shall be evaluated on the following criteria: (1) Professional qualifications necessary for satisfactorily performance of the required services; (2) Specialized experience and technical competence in the type of work required; (3) Capacity to accomplish the work in the required time; (4) past performance on contracts with Government agencies and private industry in terms of cost control, quality of work, and compliance with performance schedules; (5) location in the general geographical area of the project and knowledge of the locality of the project. Consideration is limited to firms having an existing design production office within a 75 mile radius of VA Palo Alto, CA. At least one member of any proposed joint venture must have an existing design production office within the geographic limitation. Joint venture or firm/consultant arrangements will be considered and evaluated on a demonstrated interdependency of the members to provide a quality design effort. Respondents must demonstrate capability to perform 80% of all contract services in existing production offices within the geographic limitations. This notice is unrestricted and invites full and open competition. Interested firms are to submit (2) copies of a current SF 254 and SF 255 to this office, ATTN: Aldean Montague, no later than 3:30PM, December 5, 1996. If a current SF 254/255 is on file in this office, all interested firms shall notify in writing of interest in current project. Facsimile responses will not be accepted.
