FMS is currently obtaining IMB mainframe system software maintenance/upgrades through various contractual methods, primarily through its Contract T-fms-96-3 and through GSA schedule contract. FMS intends to modify T-fms-96-3, on a sole source basis, to incorporate mainframe system software maintenance/upgrades provided by GSA schedule into the contract. This will be effective for the remainder of the current period of performance, and will be provided for in any remaining options on the contract. The intent of this synopsis is to determine if any other source(s) exist to provide IBM mainframe software mainenance/upgrades, therefore no RFP is available. See Note 22, except substitute ''15 calendar days'' for response time. Telephone responses will not be considered. Responses should be mailed to B.
